Daily Routine

This is only an example, as the routines will vary according to the different age groups.

MORNING
7:30 - 8:30	Nursery opens, breakfast is available until 8:30am.
	Free play
8:30 - 9:00	Circle time, register, weather, Calendar. What shall we do today?
9:00 – 10:00	Group work (pre-school learning)
10:00 – 10:15	Snack time.
10:15 – 10:45	Outside/physical play.
10:45 – 11:45	Art and Craft activities.
AFTERNOON
11:45 – 12:00	Tidy, prepare for lunch, toilet, wash hands.
12:00 – 1:00	Lunch time. Clean teeth, wash face and hands.
1:00 – 1:45	Free play
1:45 – 2:15	Tidy away, Circle time (singing, story time, music and discussion.
2:15 – 2:45	Group work.
2:45 – 3:15	Outside/physical play.
3:15 – 3:40	Tidy away, toilet wash hands.
3:45 – 4:15	Teatime.
4:15 – 4:30	Circle time.
4:30 – 5:20	Group activities, games, jigsaws etc.
5:20 – 5:50	Free play.
5:50 – 6:00	Tidy away.
6:00pm	Nursery closes.
