Jacky Bartlett qualified as a N.N.E.B. in 1986. Once qualified she worked as a Nanny for two boys aged 2 years and 3 ½. Jacky then moved on to work in a variety of Nursery settings before moving from Kent to Berkshire in 1996.

Jacky worked as a Nursery Nurse at Forbury Gardens Day Nursery in Reading town centre and gained more experience when she was promoted to team leader within the 2-5’s age group. 

Having worked at the Nursery for 2 ½ years, Jacky then moved to Cherry Nursery in the grounds of Thorpe Park, initially as senior Nursery Nurse and then Assistant Manager.

Jacky had to leave her role after the birth of her son Joshua, as the travelling with a small baby was too demanding and tiring.

Jacky took over the position of Manager in July 2001.
